Sound check ran long at the AmazooMania bandstand this week. The log, as filed by the zookeeper who was told to manage the band and not to have opinions about it:
The bison arrived with a bagpipe (Bison Bagpipe Blast). He was asked to stand at the back. He is now at the front. The toad brought a sitar, a saxophone and a cello... it is unclear whether that is three toads or one very busy toad, and the toads are not saying. The goat plugged into the amp at sunset and has not been asked to turn it down, because you do not ask the Guitar Goat at Sunset to turn it down. The parrot's guitar solo (Parrot Guitar Jam) is, according to the parrot, going to change music forever. The hedgehog's flute has been described as a fantasy, which is fair.
Here is why any of this matters to you: you are the one who still air-drums at a red light. You have a playlist called 'car' and it is nine hours long. You know a Binturong Piano Recital is not a real event and you would absolutely buy a ticket. Music Jam is the collection where every animal in the park finally gets an instrument and a solo, and the designs are the whole show >>> Cougar Cello Melody, Gila Monster Trumpet Blast, Okapi Banjo Bash, Pudu Sax Serenade, Maracas and Guac-as (the guacamole is implied), Dingo Harp Harmony, Mongoose Bongo Beats.
Pick the animal that plays what you play, or the one that plays what you always wished you had learned ~ every tee is printed after you order it, so the band never runs out of shirts. The bison is still at the front. We have stopped trying.
